Butterfly Conservation
Butterfly Conservation is a leading voice in preventing the decline of butterflies and moths in the UK through practical action and scientific study. Their vision is a world where butterflies and moths thrive and can be enjoyed by everyone, forever.
Butterflies and moths are a vital part of our wildlife heritage and are valuable as sensitive indicators of the health of our environment. The 56 species of butterflies and moths which exist in Britain and Ireland today are under threat from unprecedented environmental change and their struggle to survive is a serious warning about our environment.
Through our partnership with Butterfly Conservation we aim to recognise those who are voluntarily striving to keep butterflies and moths alive and promote their importance to our natural environment.
