The Royal Horticultural Society inspires passion and excellence in the science, art and practice of horticulture. Their vision is to enrich everyone’s life through plants, and make the UK a greener and more beautiful place.

Horticulture contributes £9 billion to the UK economy every year and employs around 300,000 people across a variety of disciplines. However there is also a shortage of people with the right skills within this industry. Through our Award partnership with the Royal Horticultural Society we aim to encourage postgraduate scientists to develop careers in this important sector.
